Now retired and holding down the couch, in his heydey he dominated the performance field. He began running in December of 2001, completing his ASFA FCH with firsts and BOB's. His GRC was completed in only two weekends, finishing on 5/5/02. He attained his AKC FCH with ease, with multiple majors. He completed his AKC conformation title in January 2005, to become a dual champion. He was the winner of the NOTRA Nationals in both 2002 and 2004, he is also a two time recipient of the Susan Weinkein memorial trophy in Region 4, for the high scoring bench champion of record at the Region 4 Invitationals. Both times he won this trophy from the Veterans class.

Mir became my foundation stud, which is a humorous twist, as he was given to me as a pet. It was only after he arrived and hit the field that he began to show his true athletic nature. He accomplished everything ever asked of him, and did it in style. He may sire one final litter in the Summer of 2008, but he is no longer available for outside stud service. His main goal in life now is to lay on the couch and occasionally guard the yard against squirrels.

ASFA Regional Invitational 2007

Mir was the high scoring Champion of Record. He is the 2007 recipient of the Susan Weinkein Memorial trophy. He won this honor from the Veterans Class. This is the second year in a row he has won this award.
